A bit different to my earlier problem, but it might help.

I added another 16MB 60ns SIMM to my 4040, and while the memory appeared
contiguous, and programs and the OS would detect and use all 32MB, I still
suspected that RAM was responsible for some strange irregularities and
instabilities. Using the (undocumented) utility "warpram" (supplied on the
Warp Engine installation disk) early in my startup-sequence, the problem
appeared to disappear. Worth a try anyway...
